Engagement Director - French speaking
My client requires an Senior consultant to act as an engagement Director for a key client. This is a technical leadership role providing highly complex solutions to a major Tier-One Telecoms operator. This will require technical leadership and ownership for customers, delivery partners and internal teams delivering solutions using the my clients portfolio of telecoms products.
Responsibilities
*Working directly with senior customer stakeholders to understand their issues and objectives and through this influence, define and agree the Oracle multi-disciplinary team required for success.
*Technical leadership of multi-disciplined technical teams through the whole solution delivery life cycle covering definition, implementation, verification and deployment stages.
*Provide guidance to the Oracle program, project managers, Solution Architects and implementation team with respect to estimating, planning and resourcing
*Support the sales cycle working closely with sales account managers and pre-sales engineers to define account technical strategies, define technical solutions, provide pre-sales assistance and deliver to customers.
*Own the solution transition from sales and pre-sales into delivery.
*Develop and manage technical relationships at all levels with customers and delivery partners to ensure Oracle BSS/OSS Telecoms stack solutions continue to support the customer's requirements and work closely with product management and Engineering to ensure customer requirements and industry trends are captured and considered.
*Influence the Oracle Communications Product Management function through structured feedback from the Program and team.
*Understand the Oracle Communications Product Management vision for future product and Suite direction to ensure that solutions are aligned to maximize the potential of future product adoption and revenue generation.
*Integrate the project management and technical aspects of solution delivery
*Assist Program and Project Managers in the delivery of a high quality & reliable implementations in a reasonable timeframe with minimum technical obstacles or delays.
*Act as technical lead driving a multi-discipline Architecture team to capture high level business requirements and technical requirements for a solution
*Responsible for providing guidance to CXO level on the necessary Oracle team to be engaged for projects
*Responsible for providing guidance to Solution Architects and Product Architects within the project team.
*Post implementation/project review
*Works with Consulting Sales, Project Management, Consultants, Sales, Engineering and selected Partner
Experience
You will be an experienced Programme Manager, Director or CTO with experience within the Telecoms industry working with Tier 1 Telecoms operators. Experience working with BSS solutions is preferred and you must be fluent French for this role and be able to be based in Paris for the next 12-18 month. This is a customer facing role at many levels to CxO so you must have experience working at CxO level. You'll have a background in the architecture, design development and implementation of information technology systems/solutions for the Telecoms industry together with extensive knowledge of the telecoms Industry from a consulting perspective. Must have experience of building and leading cross organisation teams from Consulting, Engineering, Support and product management
