C# Developer- Investment Banking London/WCF/Agile/Server/C++/SQL
We are seeking a C# Developer for one of our tier 1 global investment banking clients in London.
The team consists of quants and IT experts, working in close collaboration with the business and with opportunities for direct involvement with bank's clients.
Your job will be to provide technical leadership on an award winning application and to design and oversee the build out of its future architecture.
You will be involved in:
Working with senior Business and IT heads to define and understand the scope of new deliverables, and working with the development team and quant's to deliver an industry leading technical platform.
Designing and implementing the delivery of a scalable architecture to support the business using Grid and Enterprise Messaging technologies. This will include ensuring every tier of the application stack has a scalable and robust architecture.
working with other senior architects in the Bank to build out links to other systems. You will also be involved in defining quality standards for the team and putting in place processes to ensure that they are adhered to.
Investigating and prototyping new and innovative solutions to technical challenges the team faces, and introduce the latest technologies and techniques where appropriate.
This is very much a hands on role and we are looking for someone who is keen to get involved in the delivery aspect as well as design. This role also gives direct exposure to a Front Office environment and the opportunity to learn about financial markets at first hand.
