Required for a long term contract 1-2 years, s Senior Specialist in Modem Algorithm Design, based in Lund, Sweden.
Role description
- Responsible for the physical layer algorithms development in particular related to 5G.
- Implementation of new LTE-A features and troubleshooting in order to improve performance, reduce implementation complexity.
- Analyse the research area and define the problem(s), derive and identify and define potential algorithm(s), and perform extensive computer simulations (eg link level simulation).
- Document, patent or/and publish selected ideas in journals or/and on conferences.
- Traveling: international travelling will be required (primarily Europe)
Experience - Mandatory
Long experience from wireless baseband development
Good knowledge of LTE and LTE evolution
Good knowledge of LTE physical layer implementation
Experience from link level simulation
Experience from algorithm development
English (verbal and writing)
Experience - Optional
Experience from writing standardization documents and white papers
Experience from presenting at international conferences
Experience from writing and submitting patents (preferably existing own patens)
Experience from working with Mathlab, C,C++ and Scripting (Perl, Python, etc).
