Description
My prestigious consultancy client have a requirement for an experienced Enterprise Data Architect for an initial 6 to 12 months to work on an exciting project in Bracknell. The successful candidate needs to have a strong Data Architecture background and retail sector experience.
You will be tasked with reviewing the client's current data environment and making recommendations on how they can utilise and improve their customer data. You must have a lot of confidence in presenting and providing solutions and architecting a new landscape. You will help improve their data and analytics capability as well as targeted marketing campaigns to customers.
Core role requirements:
- Provide Hands on Technical leadership and strategic focus to the team in the following areas:
- Logical/Physical DB Design techniques for both structured and unstructured data stores
- Data Modelling (physical, logical, conceptual)
- Data Architecture
- Data Analytics & Consumer Marketing
- Advise on utilising the best way to use customer data
- Support and develop the Enterprise Warehouse
- Take responsibility for influencing stakeholders and driving change
- Identify opportunities for improving methods, processes and use of different toolsets
Core required skills:
- Analytics/BI reporting and visualisation tools (e.g. SAS, BOB, MS Power BI)
- Data Warehouse Design
- Database Modelling and design
- Teradata (Big Data Analytics & Data Warehousing)
- Solid ETL skills
- Presentation skills at a senior management level
- Development lifecycles (including Waterfall and Agile)
- Team leading
