Purpose of the job
(Senior) Expert in an IT OSS team. OSS provides local and agreed remote site support for all local IT services. Support includes handling of user incidents and requests, management of different infrastructure and application components together with the service owner, service centers and the operation teams. The job holder independently manages and develops certain assigned responsibilities by seeking contribution from colleagues. For example, problem management process manager, knowledge management process manager, license management process manager, purchase process manager, or disposal process manager. In addition, he/she may occasionally participate to development projects when agreed beforehand with the superior.
Key areas of responsibilities
The OSS Team is responsible for doing the following tasks:
- Incident resolution when local presence is required
- Hardware procurement and stock management
- IMAC for standard IT devices
- Recycle & Disposals
- Asset Inventory Management
- Spare Management and Loan Devices
- Local Applications Support
- Duty Ring support
- VIP/Flex Support
- Hands and feet support for network equipment, Servers and security devices
- Mobile phone support
- Participation in Projects and Change Management
- Printer support
The candidate should be excellent in speaking Swedish(Local language)
