Next Ventures is urgently looking for a senior SAP BO Analyst with for a role based in Belgium.
Tasks and responsibilities:

Provide day to day functional support, application administration & troubleshooting (L3) for all European Operating Companies in scope, in the context of the overall Operational Support Organization in place, in liaison with the vendor support organization.

Contribute to different projects (HR/Finance/Retail), by analysing and designing BO Back End solutions fit both business requirement and organization's BI strategy. Deliver best in class, operable and sustainable technical solutions with an optimal balance and integration between the different elements: Applications, Infrastructure, Data, Business Processes, Business Organization, IT Organization

Lead and coordinate BO oriented projects and solution implementation, in close collaboration with IT demand and regional IT teams.

Study and review the system deployment, identify possibilities to optimize system stability and performance

Monitor and supervise system usage and statistics, setup and develop the system audit and monitor units

Follow the SAP roadmap on analytics, adopt new techniques and functions to keep the BO platform revolute with trend and prepared for potential requirements

Support the Change Management team (Communication, Organization Transformation, provide the application training content for end users, ...)

Work self-directed and independently; may act as subject matter expert to more junior members

Lead and supervise own work and the work assigned to external resources

Follow applicable Standards, Procedures, Guidelines and Methodologies in the implementation and/or maintenance of the BI platform
Skills required:
Experience
-
At least 6 years of experience in Business Objects 4.x
-
Basic experience in the administration of a BO system 4.x
-
Experience in one or more BO upgrades
-
Experience in preparing and conducting BO trainings
-
Experience in BW is a strong asset
-
Experience in a retail environment is an asset
-
Clearly demonstrate expertise in project management, escalation, process management and business systems requirements definition
Technical knowledge

Thorough understanding of BO administration (CMC)

Good knowledge of BI tools

Web Intelligence
-
Dashboards
-
Analysis
-
BW Query Designer
-
-
Knowledge of Crystal Reports, Design studio

Experience with BO DataServices is considered as an strong asset

Hands-on experience in SAP BW 7.x is considered as an asset

Excellent command of Microsoft solutions (Office, Project, Visio)
