THE COMPANY

A leading company in medical research.

THE ROLE

In your new role, you will be part of a multicultural and multisite signal processing and firmware group. Thus, we expect you to be fluent in English.
Your primary responsibility will be mainly to develop and support the Embedded software used on our CI implant research platforms.
There is a wide range of technical and clinical activities you will be involved in, but summed up, your main responsibilities can be divided into the following areas:

  • Migrate our signal processing solutions to run on Real Time on the research platforms
  • Use our strict medical SW development cycle to implement, optimize, verify and document these solutions
  • Support external developer and research partners so they can easily use our research platforms.

THE INDIVIDUAL

In your new position, you will be working with highly advanced software medical devices. Thus, it is important that you have at least 2 years of experience within the area of Real Time Embedded systems (eg. Firmware development for DSP and MCU).

You have strong technical skills within:

  • Code version control
  • Mathematical simulation languages (eg. Matlab, Mathematica)
  • C coding and assembly language(s)
  • Test equipment (oscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzer).

Familiarity with Linux operating system is a plus
