What’s the job?
We’re looking for a full stack .NET developer to help build and maintain a telemedicine and healthcare networking application. This person will be an integral member of our small team and will need to be a great communicator while working remotely. Although deadlines are important working in this fast-paced startup environment, we care most about delivering strategic, well-structured code that is scalable.
Benefits:
- The position is 6 months initially with an opportunity to extend or go permanent.
- Flexible hours, but need 40 hours/week commitment
- Remote, work from anywhere in the USA
- C#, .Net 4.x
- SQL (SQL server preferred)
- ORM (Entity Framework preferred)
- Understanding of MVC, and preferably some experience with ASP.NET MVC
- Ability to work with web services including RESTful Web Services.
- Reasonable knowledge of JS, AJAX, HTML/CSS.
- Experience with some source control system, preferably Git
- Strong communication skills, outgoing
- Ability to collaborate remotely (we use Slack)
Strongly Desired:
- ASP.NET MVC
- REST, WebAPI
- Basic HTML5
- Unit testing
Nice to have:
- IoC, DI
- IIS, IIS8
- Any Healthcare, HIPAA, EDI, EHR experience
- Experience with Visual Studio environment
