Description

You will be working on an industry leading portfolio of websites and API’s with over 11 million unique users per year, involving integrations with large organisations such as the NHS. The position is a good career opportunity in a fast growing company.

The role will cover many aspects of front and back end development from database design and optimisation to Object Oriented CFML development and Javascript. You will be exposed to the full project lifecycle with opportunity to provide input at all stages from design to testing.

Working as part of the existing team you will collaborate with other developers to complete larger projects and also have greater control on smaller projects where you may be expected to design and Implement entire features on your own (although collaboration and discussion is never discouraged).

Working remotely or in the office you will be collaborating through Jira/Hipchat with the existing remote and office based development team. Any applicants must be based in the UK as there will be a weekly meeting at the Hungerford Office in Berkshire.

The following skill sets are required:

  • Minimum of 3 Years of ColdFusion development with experience using Object Oriented design principles.
  • Excellent Understanding of HTML, CSS, JS/jQuery
  • Database design, normalisation and ability to write/understand complex queries using MSSQL Server 2008 R2+.
  • Experience using source control e.g. Git, SVN (we use Git)


  • Experience in any the following would be of benefit:
  • Bootstrap or other front end frameworks
  • Test driven development
  • Automation / deployment systems
  • API Design and Implementation
  • Coldbox, FW1 or other CF frameworks
  • IIS7.5+ Administration
  • Java
  • Strong UI/Front end Skillset
