Front-End Developer

Description

You’ll be a key designer in building a consumer-facing website. You must be a highly-motivated, detail-oriented, self-starter with a proven track record of delivering high quality, scalable solutions. You'll need to be flexible, smart, and tenacious.

You’ll be working regularly with creative, engineers and senior management to develop UI solutions and features, so top notch communication and interpersonal skills are a must. You’ll be working in a start-up environment - ideas happen all day and we work tirelessly to optimize the site when/however possible. We’re looking for candidates who are passionate enough to give the position their all, meaning logging in at night/weekends if needed to finish the job.

ABOUT YOU

Required Experience:

Bachelor’s Degree in related field

5+ years commercial experience in developing Front-end web applications

HTML5/CSS3

Strong Javascript/JQuery

Rich (e.g., drag/drop, grids) web user interface implementation

Building applications based on RESTful APIs

Large scale GIT project experience

Python/Django experience

Able to thrive in a fast paced collaborative environment - adaptable to changing technology and restrictions, design challenges, deadlines, and project requirements.

Strong creative and visual skills; an ability to explain your thinking; strong interpersonal skills; an ability to work independently and with a group.

ABOUT THE JOB

Job Responsibilities:

Develop cutting edge, creative solutions that are aesthetically stimulating using HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/JQuery, etc. Python/Django a plus

Working with creative director and back-end team, design consistent interfaces and experiences across multiple devices.

Collaboration with multi-functional teams in a fast-paced agile environment.

Identifying and delivering creative solutions that meet project objectives on time and budget.

Work closely with engineering and design team members to execute site strategy and vision.
