- Main objective: coach group of 5 mostly medior developers without Geo skills in 6 months towards a medior Geo developer so fixed price changes to existing applications can be offered with an acceptable risk.
- The developers are based in Groningen and vary in experience from 1 year to 12 years .NET. They now follow a series of ESRI courses to enhance their Geo skills. Furthermore I also hired a functional Geo expert with some developer skills to work together with the technical Geo expert developer towards the main objective.
- - For the first 6 months the work is maintaining existing RWS Geo applications plus build an Application "Shell" around currently developed ArcGis based components which should replace the existing Geo applications.
- Longer term work is depending on success versus main objective and tariff. There are various big fixed price opportunities in which the Geo expert developer could participate.
- Minimum of 5 year .NET and 3 year ArcGIS development components (not the ArcGIS user components).
