Description
My client is urgently seeking a Java Software Developer for an initial 6 month contract position (with likely extension to 12 months +) to join a small team in Brussels working with a leading company.
The successful candidate will be participating in the analysis, design, development and deployment of multiple products. I am therefore seeking someone with a good grasp of general software development concepts (such as Object Oriented, patterns, classic algorithms etc.) with a focus on Java.
Required skill set:
Good Knowledge of general software development concepts
Good Knowledge of Java and the Java Ecosystem
Good Knowledge of database technology (SQL as well as NoSQL)
Good knowledge of web technology (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
Willingness to use other languages or platforms (groovy, bash Scripting)
