Our client is actively working on its Mifid II compliance through some European and Local strategic projects. These projects, running through all Europe, are also introducing some major technical and organizational changes like the use of a service bus as main component of inter-application exchanges, the use of the SCRUM framework together with continuous integration practices for delivering the project, etc.
Function description :
As a functional analyst, part of the SCRUM-team, you will design the application solution to put in place and will fill a key role towards the developers and business analysts for explaining the "How".
As part of this role you will:
- Autonomously investigate possible IT solutions for addressing the business requirements
- Design and discuss your own solution for addressing user stories and tasks
- Ensure an appropriate level of documentation of the designed solution
- Actively participate into the SCRUM-team's activities
Skills and Certifications:
- Have experience with a service bus, preferably TIBCO and be familiar with the SOA-concept.
- Have experience with XSD and XML in order to describe services
- Have experience with JAVA front-end applications and application design (OO-modeling with UML is a must)
- Have experience with Entity relationship modeling and the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Normal Forms

Differentiator:
- Have experience in the banking sector and more precisely securities/ investment (securities, portfolio management, advice or order management...)
- Have experience with SOA-best practices
- Have worked with Confluence or another wiki for documenting
- Have worked in a SCRUM-project
- Have experience with Triple'A or Wealth Manager from Temenos
- Have experience with BackBase portal technology
Languages: excellent knowledge of English, French and Dutch
