BedrijfsprofielOps Engineer Global Digital Channels - IBP CEE
We are looking for an IT OPS Engineer to become part of the DevOps team of IBP CEE (InsideBusiness Payments Central Eastern Europe) within the organization of OPS&IT Banking Wholesale Banking Services.
The main engineering challenges addressed at all times by our DevOps are:
•target meeting the appropriate availability, integrity and confidentiality our stakeholders expect
•consider the outcome of prioritization processes and related dependencies
•handle software evolution, isolated or throughout chains of systems
•perform meaningful testing for several relevant goals (e.g. regression, user acceptance, and performance)
•aim at improving time-to-market and added business value
Your personal profile
•Master of Science in Computer Science or an equivalent field.
•You love technology and naturally stay up-to-date on relevant new developments.
•At least 3 years of experience in system maintenance, preferably in supporting high scalability mission-critical applications.
•Experienced in acceptance testing of applications on the non functionals, including the automation using java/javascript based test frameworks.
•Good knowledge of AngularJS, JSON and Javascript is preferred.
•You have experience with Bash and at least one modern scripting language (e.g. python)
•Good knowledge OS fundamentals, with the ability to apply it in the context of modern operating systems (e.g. Linux, Windows ).
•Good knowledge of databases and working experience with Oracle is preferred.
•Familiarity with several tools to support continuous delivery and continuous integration, such as GITLAB, Jenkins and Artifactory.is preferred.
•You are proactive, perseverant and value a multi-cultural work environment
•You have the ability to work independently and together with your own team, being also capable to efficiently align with other internal parties or external customers
•You have very good analytical and problem solving skills
•You are proficient in English and Dutch
