VB.Net Developer - Near Leeds - £300 to £350/day - 8th February start - 6 monthsA leading consultancy firm, supplying into a major public sector client, are looking to bring in at least 1, potentially 2 VB.Net Web Developers to work on a major Greenfield project.
The right Web Developer / MVC Developer, will be able to work as part of a team on a Greenfield project where you can put your stamp on it, offering advise on technologies, approaches, etc, all written in key web technologies.
The key areas that they are looking for from the right VB.Net Web Developer are:
* Experience in VB.Net - if it is recent C# experience, that is fine, provided there has been some VB.Net experience in the past
* ASP.Net MVC and good experience working on web applications
* Web API
* Some SQL Server, not using ORMs (TSQL and Store procedures)
* JavaScript - JQuery is fine, Angular would be preferred
* Ideally some experience with responsive design and Bootstrap, but not essential
* Ideally some experience working on scalability and large scale systems
* Unit testing
* Agile approaches
* A strong communicator
* Experience working on Greenfield projects
The right person will be on site in their offices (15 minutes from Leeds), for a 6 month duration at least, but the right VB.Net / Web Developer, will be extended on for future projects.
Ideally they are looking to pay between £300 and £350/day depending on experience, and have the ability to take 2 people on.
They are looking for someone to start on the 8th February, but with interviews and offers happening on Monday.
