FPGA Design Engineer - Hemel Hempstead - Contract - 12 monthsA key client of Progressives have a requirement for a FPGA Design Engineer on a 12 month basis. This is an exciting opportunity with a very forward thinking organisation. I have detailed below some information on the role:
Role:
Design and develop FPGA and software modules, whether simple or complex, for inclusion in products and assemblies.
Software Design: Develop digital signal processing software for embedded systems and PC applications using high level languages such as VHDL and/or Verilog.
Firmware Design: VHDL and schematic design of hardware to implement appropriate algorithms. Simulation and verification of the design using Modelsim.
Product development Timelines: From inception to completion to ensure quality software delivery is on-time, and to specification. Software
Documentation Records: Ensure that all historic and current software is recorded using version control and sandbox methodologies.
