Salesforce.com Software Developer
Our client, a global E-commerce trading platform requires a Salesforce Apex Visualforce Developer to join their Amsterdam based team. This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the World's best known and successful brands.
We are looking for a Salesforce Solution Developer to play a key role as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) and technical consultant for Salesforce.com and related applications. You will be implementing and supporting issues in the live application.
The ideal candidate will have experience with Salesforce implementations with more than 50 users.
NOTE - apart from Netherland based SFSD's, this is a great New Year opportunity for people living outside the Netherlands to work for 12 months (or longer) in one of Europe's most iconic Cities - Amsterdam.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Be a partner in a team focused on finding solutions to CRM challenges by consulting and creating different technical and integration solutions
- Work directly with our business customers to collect, analyze and refine business, functional, and technical requirements
- Manage all aspects of the Salesforce .com CRM platform including, data, contacts, leads, custom objects, workflows, profiles, roles, etc.
- Develop and maintain Visual Force, APEX, App Exchange apps, Force.com pages, and integration APIs
- Document and develop code according to specifications and standards
- Prepare test plan with data and conduct basic unit and/or module testing
- Provide guidance and support for offshore development efforts
- Manage Quality Assurance and defect resolution efforts
- Work as a senior member of the development team, provide guidance and support for less senior team members
- Participate in project team meetings and communicate effectively with peers, architects, system analysts, business analysts, project managers and other members of the extended team
We expect you to have experience in:
- Experience with Salesforce and related cloud technologies
- Salesforce development - both Apex and Visualforce (minimum 401 certified; ideally 501 certified)
- SOQL
Other Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
*BSc degree in IT/Computer Science or equivalent.
*IDE and ideally Salesforce.com API
*Project integration experience.
