Position: Marketing Officer
Location: Paisley
Salary: £30,696 - £35,149 per year

ASA are currently recruiting for an experienced Marketing Officer on behalf of our client based in Paisley.
This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside a great team in a vibrant work environment. You will be developing and implementing a national marketing campaign to position the area as a prime location for investment and a first-class visitor destination.
This temporary post will commence in February 2016 until April 2016 working 35 hours per week.
Main Duties:
*You will provide dedicated marketing support to the ambitious regeneration programme and will develop national marketing campaigns to promote the event programme.
*You will deliver a programme of innovative marketing to attract day visitors to Renfrewshire, coordinating and supporting marketing efforts of Renfrewshire's key tourism providers and maximizing cross-promotional opportunities.
*Working to agreed objectives, you will deliver outputs including, but not limited to: developing an area ambassador programme, designing advertising campaigns, on-site marketing, direct marketing, producing case studies, co-ordinating partnership marketing, securing sponsorship, developing a presence at events, web development, digital marketing and content development.
Requirements:
*A degree in marketing or equivalent
*Previous experience in a similar marketing role - location marketing
*Experience developing and implementing strategic marketing campaigns to client specifications, including buying media
*Experience developing and implementing successful tourism/visitor destination marketing campaigns
*Experience of arranging and managing events
*Experience of designing and planning social media campaigns
*Ability to manage and meet the expectations of diverse stakeholders
Desirable:
*Previous local government experience
*Experience of working in a regeneration or commercial property marketing role
*Ability to write for the web and managing CMS
