Description
Oven Bits is seeking a contract Ruby-focused engineer to who's ready to start working immediately on a 90-120 day assignment. With this position, you'll be joining a tight knit multi-disclinary team inside our product division where you'll help launch Ruby-powered mobile apps.
Here at 'the Oven', we’re heavily focused on a Ruby-based stack but we’re also big fans of exploring other ways to solve problems. To be our ideal Ruby engineer, you should be well equipped to solve problems using mobile-facing APIs. You've had experience writing production-ready code in a fast-paced team envionrment. You've also had experience with external API integrations and writing modular, reusable code systems.
LOCATION:
The Oven Bits home office is located in the West End District of downtown Dallas. Having someone who can be here and work with us face-to-face is important but not a mandate. If you’re beyond a reasonable commute, this is a position open to remote working. In addition to our Texas presence, we have great team members spread across the country.
