Software Developer - £50,000 + Excellent BenefitsMy client is a market leading company operating in the Financial Services Industry. An innovative company that has developed significantly through its IT software and systems, this role is key in maintaining the companies progression & continued growth. You will take a key role and be responsible for developing software applications to meet the business requirements, as well as supporting and enhancing in-house business applications in their varied technologies.
Responsibilities:
Understanding our products and policies whilst identifying key software applications that can improve service standards delivered by colleagues.
A thorough understanding of software applications identified below, as well as a willingness to learn new systems. Ability to progress projects through the entire lifecycle, from concept to delivery.
Effective Communication - Liaise comfortably with internal and external management, as well as with all other staff levels.
Required Skills, 3yrs Experience with:
C#, ASP.Net 4+
ASP.Net MVC or MVC pattern
WCF Services
Entity Framework
Database Development in SQL Server 2008+
JavaScript, jQuery, Knockout.js
HTML & CSS
Experience with source control systems such as TFS
Desirable Skills:
ASP.Net WebAPI
Experience of Agile environment
Experience with unit testing in frameworks like MSTest or NUnit
Experience working with a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA)
Ability to work within set timescales
Ability to integrate will in a small growing team
