Our Digital Insight team use their understanding of how customers behave online to influence their behaviour. Joining them as Usability Manager, we'll look to you to use your expertise of user research methodologies and best practices to create brilliant user experiences. It's a faced paced development environment, and it'll be down to you to make sure output is clear and actionable, and followed through to the point of go-live. It's a big role and a great opportunity for you to play your part in our digital transformation.

What you'll do:

  • Manage lab-based user testing, remote testing, paper prototype testing, iterative prototype testing, concept testing and survey design
  • Oversee user research projects for Digital
  • Work with stakeholders to understand requirements
  • Educate and inform the team about user research principles and methodologies
  • Provide end to end process management
  • Clearly communicate output across all levels of the business

You'll definitely:

  • Bring a thorough knowledge of usability methods and when to apply them
  • Have hands-on experience with lab-based user testing, remote testing, paper prototype testing, iterative prototype testing, concept testing and survey design
  • Be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and managing responsibilities for multiple projects at any given time
  • Be customer-centric - not only when conducting user research but in all dealings with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Have a proven record of driving change through research and user advocacy
  • Be able to interface effectively with Developers, Product Managers and Designers
