Security Consultant (Assurance with Scripting), Edinburgh

Apache Ranger

ECS are looking to recruit a Security Consultant with Scripting skills, in Edinburgh or London, to work as part of a Security Team implementing a service that will assure and monitor access to a new data lake.

The Security Consultant will baseline the data pools and review the 'Apache Ranger' security policies. Initially review the Apache Ranger' security policies to provide confidence that they are configured correctly to permit the right groups to interact with the right data pools in the right way.

Relevant skills would be security, hadoop and Apache Ranger

Skills and Experience:

  • Security policy review
  • Monitoring experience, access control
  • Scripting skills
