Description

Responsibilities:

  • You will work across the full technology stack from front to back, and be completely responsible for each new feature you build – from design review to implementation to deployment and maintenance.

  • You will write elegant, maintainable, robust, scalable code every day. We’re moving fast so the features you build will have an immediate impact.

  • Rapid iteration is a key to our business, so be prepared for fast release cycles guided by a combination of user testing, detailed metrics, and gut feel.

  • Our business includes web applications, Facebook Applications, and mobile applications, so you’ll get a chance to delve into a variety of areas

    Requirements:

  • BS or MS in Computer Science or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience (or proven aptitude to learn fast and move quick)
  • Deep understanding of Web protocols and architectures
  • You are one of those developers who somehow always manages to get 10 times more done than your peers
  • You function well in a fast-paced, informal, egoless environment where constant change is the norm and the bar for performance is set high.
  • Sense of humor and a positive attitude are non-negotiable.
  • Working experience with full-stack web development including following technologies with the given skill/experience rating or better (with 10 being expert):
  • Understanding of OOP: 6+ Python Django: 6+ HTML / HTML5: 7+ CSS 3: 7+ JavaScript / AJAX / JQuery: 7+ MySQL: 4+ Flash / Flex / ActionScript: familiarity is a plus, working experience is a huge plus
