Proteus Europe is searching for : IT Monitoring Architect and Technical Expert (French and Dutch speaking)Our Client :-
Our client is based in the Insurance industry based in the stunning and historic city of Brussels, Belgium.
Your New role :-
This is a 12 month contract where you will be expected to fulfil the role of Monitoring architect and technical SCOM expert; be the evangelist of the monitoring vision in the different teams.
You must speak a good level of French and Dutch.
- Ensure the integration of a global vision on the monitoring architecture within IT
- Manage and support the monitoring infrastructure (PowerShell, SCOM, application Performance Management tooling, )
- Configuration of the SCOM Management Packs for the technologies in-use by the company
- Coaching of IT Engineers and Operators
- Guide a - Monitoring Community- consisting of performance experts from multiple
IT-domains
- Define and implement solutions targeting proactive and predictive alerts
- Support in the consolidation of the different monitoring platforms
- Integration of the monitoring system with the ITIL-processes and ITSM-tooling
- Incident Management
- Implementation of event management
- Implementation of service level management
- Continuous improvement of the ITIL-processes
- Definition of standards and guidelines related to monitoring and alerting
Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
- Fluent Dutch and French (Both are Mandatory)
Minimum of 3 years experience with:
- Project Leading
- Coaching / Management of a team
- SCOM
- Monitoring of IT assets (multi-platform, multi-domain, multi-technology)
- Powershell - advanced
- Technical expertise in multiple IT-domains
- Familiar with the newest developments within Monitoring. (Eg. : end-user monitoring, synthetic transactions, operational analytics)
