Oracle EBS Developer

A leading Dublin IT company are now looking to add an Oracle E-Business Suite developer to their strong and growing IT team.

With offices all around Ireland, they are the HQ for development with the main technology decisions made in Dublin.

The technical team is very strong with a very low turn over of employees which has allowed for consistent growth over the last 3 years, they have taken on 2 new IT employees in the last month. This role will suit someone with a flair for EBS that is a keen problem solver. I placed the same position 4 months ago and they have come back for another one since then.

One of the main advantages of working with my client is the variety and challenging projects they encounter. They also have an excellent and talented development team that is solving unique problems within the Oracle applications area.

Your Role:

You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects. Below is an indication of some of the projects you will have exposure to.

Projects

Payment Scheme- currently they have an online payment scheme that will need to be developed through EBS, the exciting part of this is that you will be building the system from the ground up.

Your Skillset:
  • Strong knowledge of how Oracle E-Business applications interact with the database
  • 3 years Oracle EBS Technical experience
  • Demonstrated system administration knowledge
  • Proven analytical and problem resolution skills
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Ability to work in pressurized environment
  • Ability to work on own initiative work well within a team.
  • Experience in a technical Role on Oracle E-Business Suite 12i
  • 5+ years SQL & PL/SQL Development Experience


Desirable
  • Oracle reports, XML,
  • OA framework, Java
  • Oracle workflow, Discoverer reporting


Role: Oracle EBS developer Duration: 6 months daily rate contract

Location: Dublin, Ireland

Rate: DOE

X-Factor: High probability of extension
