**SENIOR DATA WAREHOUSE ENGINEER -£55K - SWINDON**Are you an experienced Data Warehouse Engineer looking for your next challenge?
Computer futures are recruiting for a key client in the great location of Swindon. Working as part of a innovative team for a market leading client. The Senior Data Warehouse Engineer will be part of the Business Systems team who are responsible for maintaining and developing new IT solutions that enable them to improve deficiencies and customer service offer.
Main responsibilities:
-Providing onward development of main data warehouse and ASP client data warehouse solutions
-Conducting requirements analysis of data warehouse.
-Maintaining excellent service levels to existing users of the production system.
-This role is part development and part support
Required skills:
- Oracle 11g (use of SQL tools such as SQL*Plus, SQL Developer or TOAD. Use of Oracle SQL*Loader and ability to program PL/SQL).
-Ability to understand explain plans and to investigate query performance.
-Business Objects Data Services 3.x/4.x ETL tool . Ability to use BODS to load flat file data feeds.
-Extracting data from SAP.
-Experience of requirements gathering, complete design, build, testing and deployment of Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse solutions within Development Standards & Change Control processes.
-Experience of modeling tools and an understanding of Entity Relationship diagrams.
-Experience of Business Objects Universe design.
-Experience of supporting Production systems and resolving tickets within defined SLAs
-Experience of data analysis investigating data problems from source to report.
Desired skills:
-Experience of the new SAP BI Suite toolsets, Web Intelligence, Design Studio (Dashboard) and Lumira (Data Visualisation) and Explorer (Data Exploration) and mobile capability.
-Business Objects CMC and CMS.
-Experience of real time data warehouse in Oracle 12c in Memory or other.
