I am looking to hire a Financial Controller in Birmingham's with one of the Public Sector client.
This is a 7 months of contract role.
Role Specs:-
- Quarterly/year-end accounts production including consolidation pack to Public sector client.
- Servicing Audit Committee requirements.
- Monthly management accounts with robust variance analysis and commentary.
- Monthly corporate performance reports to meet the needs to Executive, Board, Monitor, Shareholder and Public sector Client.
- Quarterly valuation of infrastructure assets.
- Finalisation of business plan.
- Monthly cashflow forecasting, drawdown and reporting.
- Payments/receipts accurate and on time.
- Monthly liaison meetings with Finance/Monitor/Shareholder.
- Supplier financial viability reviews.
- Investment decision control process fully Embedded in the Company.
Previous Experience:-
- Qualified accountant.
- Accounts preparation, including facilitation of external audit.
- Working with and presenting to Executive and Board level forum.
- Leading large teams to deliver high quality reports to tight deadlines.
- Experience of a regulatory environment advantageous.
- Familiarity with Oracle financial system.
- Managing and improving financial transactional services.
- Managing a geographically dispersed team.
