My Public Sector Client is looking for a Financial Data Modeller, The primary responsibility of this role is to provide analytical, reporting and planning support for a high profile and challenging business transformation project. We require an individual who is a self-starter, extremely proactive and able to identify and quantify business transformation efficiencies and recommend viable solutions. This role requires a demonstrable commercial acumen and experience delivering financial analysis to support business change.

Key responsibilities will include:

*Financial Leadership
*Lead delivery of key financial deliverables, including benefit profiles
*Preparation of management reporting and insight, including quantifying financial savings and business benefits as a result of business transformation
*Quantifying and reporting on capital and operational cost efficiencies to support business transformation
*Liaise with project, finance and non-finance staff to understand and analyse service delivery costs.
*Relationship Management
*Build strong relationships with the service delivery teams, delivering analysis, reporting, insight and financial guidance
*Build strong relationships across the finance team and wider business areas
*Work closely with process excellence subject matter experts to support the analysis of value chains
*Strategy
*Work in close collaboration with senior stakeholders, service managers and delivery team members across the organisation, public sector agencies and external stakeholders to build awareness of, and encourage engagement in, a process of business change enabled by digital technology
*Responsible for enabling partners to change their current business models in order to take advantage of the application of digital technology including, critically, through the sharing of common, open service capabilities across the digital ecosystem

Essential criteria:

*Degree educated (minimum 2:1) in Finance or related discipline
*Qualified Accountant or qualified by experience
*Demonstrable experience of leading the delivery of key financial deliverables
*Strong stakeholder management and project management skills
*Understanding of financial ratios and how to apply them to financial modelling
*Strong analytical skills; advanced Excel including Pivots, sumifs, vlookups, VBA, complex Embedded formulas etc
*Strong communication and presentation skills
*Experience with building and using financial models
*Experience of working within a fast paced project environment
*A successful track record operating at a senior level with excellent leadership and project and programme management skills.
*Demonstrable ability to engage and influence stakeholders at the highest level
