Functional Analyst (Media, UX web & app) - 11 months (freelance) - Antwerp - Good rates.
My client based in Antwerp is looking for a Full time Functional Analyst on a freelance basis for 11 months. You will be providing important services within the Digital News Media department focusing on digital platforms to bring news to subscribers and users: websites, apps and videos. Dutch speaking role.
Responsibilities:
- As functional analyst you will be engaged in the development of digital platforms (news sites, apps, mobile sites).
- You will be an integral member of the department between users and the technical team in which you translate the business requirements into specifications for the development team - You will be expected to fully understand the requirements on the business/customer side and provide the best possible documentation for the technical team and vice-versa so that the business/customer understands what will be implemented.
- You will define and describe the improvements by using wireframes, navigation structures and functional descriptions.
- You will lead the monitoring of the usability of the website or web application through the whole process.
- You test the end result of the correct completion.
Requirements:
Know the best practices of information structure and functional analysis
Good knowledge of web standards
Experience with UX on both web and apps
Good knowledge of video platforms and players
Experience in the integration of video advertising (VAST, VPAID, ..)
Proven experience with analytical work of web and/or app projects
You can work with wireframe tools (eg Balsamic)
