Description
Whereoware is growing, and looking to hire a mid- to senior-level Web Designer for our team. We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated designer who thrives in a fast-paced environment. We hope you have a genuine passion for creating amazing user experiences that can elevate brand and content, and produce high conversions. This highly creative and passionate individual will work with a strong team of developers to help create websites for our clients.
Responsibilities:
Design awe-inspiring, user-friendly, and responsive ecommerce and marketing websites from a blank canvas
Create supporting deliverables based off original designs, such as web page mockups and graphics
Work closely with our Design Lead, designers, front-end developers, and Vice President to ensure project expectations are met and exceeded
Present designs to clients and collect meaningful feedback
Critique your own work, as well as others - and accept critique from the Design Lead and your peers
Multi-task while maintaining focus on top priorities and meeting deadlines
Create wireframes and IA documents for presentation to clients
Understand and enforce web design standards and best practices
Optimize images for web, and have basic HTML and CSS knowledge
The ideal candidate must have:
At least 3 years of relevant work experience
An online portfolio
A bachelor degree in design, marketing, business, or related field
