Geneos / Optier / Nagios / iBM BAM / AppDynamicsDue to sustained organic growth,My client, a market leading organisation working within the financial sector are seeking a Monitoring Architect to work on an urgent contract starting immediately to define, agree and implement application telemetry standards as part of our customers' application builds, SDLC process and Platform as a Service.
Key responsibilities:
Define a set of instrumentation patterns which enable applications to publish status of business critical events
Agree the instrumentation standards with architects
Define a monitoring architecture to support the use of the standards
Define an implementation across the organization
At least 7 years-experience of application and business monitoring tools within an enterprise monitoring tooling environmente.g.Geneos / Optier / Nagios / iBM BAM / AppDynamics
Understanding the technology stack covering databases, middleware, network and infrastructure
Experience in at least five projects covering the entire Systems Development Life Cycle
Practical experience of production processes, ITIL and best practice service context
