Proteus Europe is searching for a Digital Solution Architect for our client in Brussels -Our Client :-
Based at our clients' HQ in Anderlecht, the Digital Solution Architect is playing a key role as the technical lead in the Digital Factory. The Digital Factory is our clients' internal agency delivering digital assets and solutions (E-details, Websites, Web Applications, ) across multiple geographies.
Your New role :-
He/she is responsible for providing software and systems development leadership, guidance and oversight to all aspects of digital software projects and activities.
He/she will play an active part in the identification of technology trends, assessment and setup of new Digital solutions/services within the Digital Factory, ensuring the growth of the Digital Factory. He/she will work closely with architecture and other IT colleagues to achieve this.
Key Accountabilities
- She/he will act as a key technical consultant for the digital services within the Digital Factory
- She/he is responsible for providing software and systems development leadership, guidance and oversight to all aspects of digital software projects and activities.
- She/he will translate business needs into technical solutions for the development teams
- She/he will play an active part in the identification of technology trends, assessment and setup of new Digital solutions/services within the Digital Factory, ensuring the growth of the Digital Factory.
Technical Lead
- She/he will analyse new digital requests and propose the adequate solution
- She/he will monitor technical excellence and quality
- She/he will apply DevOps to ensure continuous improvement of our digital technology and allow business to increase time to market and value
- She/he will establish a technical vision with our Digital offshore partners, IT architecture and other IT colleagues and turn these into reality
- She/he will work closely with our offshore team and challenge wherever needed (IT solution, estimates, development guidelines, )
- She/he will be able to guide external resources and evaluate proposed technical solutions
- She/he recommends, maintains and improves the Digital Technology architecture in alignment with the enterprise IT architecture and our clients' business objectives
- She/he ensures that all components of Digital systems integrate effectively and meet all regulatory and compliance guidelines
Relationship Management
- He/she builds a good relationship with the different stakeholders - Business partners (CoE, Brand Managers, Infra, Off/Near-shore ,), IT, Digital Factory vendor resources, agencies,
- He/she works closely with the stakeholders to understand their needs
- Work closely with nearshore and offshore development teams.
- Work closely with the project managers to ensure projects are delivered within time and quality standards.
- Collaborate with external resources to achieve business results
Your Skills and experience :-
Essential Skills :-
- Educated to a Master level in an IT or other, business-relevant discipline
- Good understanding of the use of Digital solutions (edetail, Web, Mobile, Campaign, ..) within the pharmaceutical industry
- An excellent understanding of the web technologies (HMTL, CSS, Javascript (frameworks), PHP, .NET,)
- Experience within Web Content Management system is recommended
- Preferably some experience as developer (PHP or .NET) or front-end developer
- Proven track record as functional and technical analyst within IT
- Excellent relationship management skills and pro-active attitude towards business users
- Good understanding of customer-facing sales and marketing processes and creative in applying new ideas and possibilities to enrich the digital channel
- Participated in digital engagements and used project management principles, techniques and tools (eg Prince2, Agile, )
- Familiar with IT change/release management processes
- Organizational change management/communication skills
- Business fluent English
