An software engineer is required to join a leading technology company based in Coventry, who focus in the RnD sector. The company are looking to bring their development in-house, and this would be to replace a team member to help lead the software and electronics design.
Role: Software Engineer
Salary: £35,000 to 50,000 dependent on experience
Location: Coventry
The Role:
* Responsible for the software aspects of design and the successful integration with all software, electrical and consumer management systems.
* Liaising with customers, suppliers, sales and installation teams as well as all in-house staff.
* Improve efficiency of the software design process, including fully testing and control of releases.
* Leading software design reviews as required to review ideas and schemes from other engineers and contractors.
Key Skills:
* Embedded C/C++ and JAVA, or C++, C#, Python
* UML/Software design
* MISRA C compliant, ISO 26262, OR other safety critical systems
* Good customer facing skills
* Degree or equivalent in software engineering or a relevant discipline
Desirable Skills:
* Linux Kernel Development
* Java and C
* Real Time Systems
* Knowledge of Phonegap
