I currently have a requirement for a SAS Analyst to work for a leading Financial Services Client. The details are below-Location: Halifax, Chester or Cardiff
Duration: 3 months +
Rate: £ p/d
Start Date: Feb 2016
Key Capabilities/ Knowledge:
Experience of Asset Finance processes, Capital and Impairment models and methodologies is essential Knowledge of mart development methods and technologies, data design and data model approaches, architecture, end user application and meta data management is useful.
Good stakeholder management - proven experience of developing and building relationships across functions.
Experience of working alongside Credit Risk management teams, working knowledge of data driven processes.
Leads the design and facilitation of workshops with business representatives to establish scope, requirements, business outcome and to model business processes.
Strong excel skill are expected as the role will require an element of data management and experience of SAS tools (SAS Enterprise Guide) would be extremely advantageous in this role.
Ensures that quality business requirements are produced and is accountable for end to end traceability against these requirements using appropriate tools and templates.
Identifies and resolves any conflicting design issues, seeking input from the Business Analysis Manager/Business Architect/Project Manager where necessary Works with the Lead Business Analysis /Business Architect/Project Manager/Testing Manager to ensure that the business solution design delivers the agreed business requirements.
Takes responsibility for ensuring that all analysis and design deliverables are produced and ensures that these meet pre?defined quality standards and successfully completes quality reviews.
Understanding of project lifecycle imperative, along with ability to prioritise according to frequently changing project demands.
