Description
Quality Engineer wanted for our Zurich based client in the banking sector.The Quality Engineer will validate and verify the introduction of solutions spanning from Architecture, Software Development, IT Infrastructure and Business Process Engineering, with an emphasis on delivery excellence.
Your tasks:
- Reviewing requirements specifications and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
- Creating detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases
- Estimating, prioritizing, planning and coordinating testing activities with a scalable end-to-end system view
- Identifying and recording bugs
- Performing thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
- Designing, developing and executing automation scripts
Your experience/skills:
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject
- Proven work experience in software development and software quality assurance at a bank
- Solid knowledge of SQL and Java scripting
- Experience in writing clear, concise and comprehensive test cases
- Hands-on experience with both white box and black box testing
- Fluent English both written and spoken
