Description
The client I am recruiting for are looking for an IT professional to work on one of the largest projects in Europe. A DevOps Engineer will be working on a project to unify various databases over the course of 4 years so all the relevant information can be accessed through one central database.Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of DevOps experience
- 5 years of experience in Linux/Unix Administration, preferably Red Hat 5
- 3+ years of experience in Puppet based configuration management design/architecture, development/configuration and deployment, preferably on Red Hat 5
- Minimum of 4 large projects involving Puppet based solutions on Linux/Unix
- Minimum of 2 projects involving server automation (deployment) and standardisation through Scripting.
- OS and network knowledge
- Knowledge of bash and ruby Scripting
Desirable:
- Microsoft Windows Server 2003+
- Puppet configuration management on Windows Server 2003+
- Certification: RHCSA/RHCE
Contract length: 6 month contract with a big possibility of extending
Location: Hague, Netherlands
Rate: 370 Euro's per day (£280)
Start date: 2 week's time
