Senior Solution Architect - Global Broadcaster - VOD
The successful candidate will be passionate about the Media /Broadcast industry, and use this passion to communicate with stakeholders, stay ahead of trends, and ensure best practices are adopted across the team. The ideal candidate will have thorough knowledge and demonstrate expertise and experience in the technology behind broadcast playout, stream encoding, video formats, application architectures, and technology transformation
Experience / Skills
- Workflow and BPM technologies: JBPM, Activiti, BPMN 2.0
- Broadcast and Advertising Management Systems ] scheduling, traffic, sales
- Playout technology, e.g. automation, playout servers, broadcast video signal processing
- Content ingest, management and delivery technology ] MAM, workflow, storage,
- archive
- File delivery/acceleration ] Signiant, Aspera, SFTP, syndication platforms
- Database technologies ] SQL, Informix
- Caching and distribution technologies; CDNs ] e.g. Limelight, Akamai, Amazon
- Cloudfront
