Software Test Engineer Contract Limerick 3-6 months (with view for extension)
My client a global leader in their space is in urgent need of a talented and experienced Test engineer to join them on a contract basis in their Limerick office.
You will work as part of the BACS and FPS (UK payment systems) Application Refresh team and be responsible for performing sanity/component/functional testing. You will proactively and efficiently create test plans, scenarios and cases. You will execute and communicate functional testing You will participate in Agile-based projects, have experience of continuous integration testing, and input into the broader organisational model of best practice Agile delivery.
Successful candidates will have experience in writing end to end test scenarios, test cases, logging defects, reporting and defect analysis You will have experience with HP Quality Centre, Rational ClearQuest and Atlassian JIRA. Working knowledge of SQL and Unix (preferred)
You will have experience in using Confluence, JIRA Agile etc, Basic knowledge of Shell script and JavaScript. Experience with Test Automation software would be advantageous.
