Description

This role sits as part of the CMI (Configuration Management Infrastructure) team, which is a highly experienced and skilled team that operates from multiple locations in Europe, Sweden & APAC. The team currently manages the SCCM infrastructures that support approx. 130,000 clients and 5000 packages. Currently deployed are Product Versions:

- CM12/SP1

- CM2007 SP2/R3

- WSUS 3.0 SP2 and LUP

Activities include support, maintenance & enhancement tasks, and assisting in new deployments.

Mandatory Skills:

  • Proven relevant competence and experience within a large CM12 and SCCM 2007 environment.
  • Strong Scripting and automation skills - mainly Powershell (occasionally VBs).
  • Competent with Windows 2012 and W2008 server in function of SCCM management.
  • Excellent communicator and ability to work in team as well as independent context.
  • Strong customer service focus, well organised, able to function smoothly as part of a global geographically distributed support team.

Supporting Skills

  • SCOM 2007 & 2012 (Systems Center Operations Manager)
  • HP and DELL hardware (firmware, HPSIM,...)
  • SQL Server/database knowledge.
  • Active Directory experience
  • Good knowledge of WSUS.
  • Knowledge of System Center Orchestrator
  • IIS knowledge.
  • Basic diagnostic and troubleshooting skills of Networks (WAN/LAN)
  • Awareness and ability to work within an ITSM Service Operations process driven context
