The role of Middleware Development & Software Quality Engineer is part of the Middleware team, responsible for the solution design reviews, partially web-methods development and software quality control (testing of ESB software). Further responsibilities will include providing technical leadership on establishing standards, guidelines, and a Middleware testing framework. He/she continuously strives to ensure and improve application performance, reliability, continuity and costs and meet end-user satisfaction.

• Develop and maintain Middleware (ESB) software.
• Safeguard the quality of the delivered ESB software.
• Create and execute the ESB test strategy (including automated testing).
• Control the handover process from project to production for all ESB deliveries.
• Provide off-hours support (24/7) as required in the Middleware team.

• Bachelor or Master Degree in Computer Science, Information System/Engineering, or other related field.
• Demonstrated experience in Developing Integration solutions (preferably in webMethods).
• Demonstrated experience in Testing Integration solutions (preferably in webMethods).
• Experience in working in large international industry environments.
• Fluent in Dutch as well as English.

Finally the candidate must be willing to travel (eg Hamburg).
