IP Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a IP Engineer to join their business in the Netherlands.

Position Title: IP Engineer

Responsibilities
- You will be part of the Network Integration Team (Data-com Network Division) and will be responsible for all technical support such as:
- Project deployment: operate equipment commissioning, testing, migration, low-level design, site swap, system acceptance etc.
- Maintenance Support: providing maintenance support compliant to Maintenance support procedure and give customer technical support according to Project needs.
- Pre-sales support: support the service solution and network HLD design
- Product proof of concept test: make test cases and define issue-reporting schedule
- Acquiring deep knowledge of the IP/MPLS transport network architecture of the customer and using this knowledge to advise customer and project teams towards development of projects to improve the IP/MPLS transport network.

Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Telecommunications Industry (Carrier or Vendor)
- 2+ years of experience as a IP/MPLS Network engineer
- Experience with IP/NMS equipment from Cisco, Juniper, Huawei, Alcatel-Lucent, Redback etc.
- CCNP/CCIP or preferably similar kind of certificates from Juniper or Alcatel-Lucent.
- Work experience with the following technologies/protocols: IP, L2/L3 VPN, MPLS, MPLS-TE, MP-BGP, LDP, RSVP-TE, MPLS BGP VPN, ETH-trunk, IS-IS, QoS.
- Experience in work with NMS/OSS
- Knowledge of Scripting, word/excel macros (VB) and Linux would be an advantage
- Eager to learn about products and technologies
- Structured and precise work attitude
- Travelling - not regularly, driving license(optional)
