Description
My Client are seeking a contract Compliance engineer for the next 6 months. You will be the contact between the project managers, product team and be the responsible person who deals with the regulatory bodies to ensure compliance.
The client will offer a 4 day working week with unlimited overtime.
A background in electronics/electrical engineering and product development is key here.
Duties
Working with different IEC standards such as IEC 60079/IEC61508
Making sure the electronic products are failsafe and fault tolerant
configuration management
UL writing compliance experience would be a huge plus
talking to various engineers in design reviews and asking the questions which will ensure designs are compliant.
Working with various electronics/at least understanding switch mode power supply or LVD or EMC compliance
You will talk to the test house and provide specfifcations for them.
would be ideal if you have FMEA skills or other functional safety engineering skills
