On any given day you might

Take ownership of any step in the development process from design, development, refactoring existing code, and through maintenance as required

Apply analytical and problem solving skills with the ability to think quickly and offer alternatives

Follow best software development practices, design patterns, peer review, unit testing, and version control

Mentor team members, and constructively contribute to enhancing the technical knowledge of the development group, as a whole

Assist with project scoping and estimation by translating business/functional requirements into technical requirements

Produce timely and accurate documentation and reports of work completed

The ideal person

Has strong skills in Backbone.js, Javascript/JQuery optimized for mobile execution, REST/AJAX, Socket.IO/WebSockets, SVG, HTML and CSS.

Brings experience using XCode and CLI compliation, and having proficiency with Java and Objective-C, as well as integrating APIs and SDKs for social and third party services, including Facebook, Twitter/Fabric, app tracking conversions for iAds and Google Play Services.

Is experienced in internationalizing and localizing apps for multi-lingual/global support, including support of non-latin languages.

Follows best practices integrating PhoneGap/Corodova plugins, as well as developing custom plugins.

Is proficient with image processing and manipulation as well as source code management practices, preferably GitLab and Mercurial
