We are looking for an experienced Mobile test analyst who is required for a super-fast paced agile driven team. You'll be responsible for the implementation and testing of all releases from inception through to live deployment. You will be challenged every single day but you'll also have fun, you'll laugh every day, we guarantee it.
Essential Skills:
- Strong experience in Manual Native Mobile application testing (iOS & Android) preferably in an Agile or Lean environment
- Ability to prepare test scenarios, test plans and execute test scripts
- Experience of a range of test procedures and methodologies
- Ability to author Test Acceptance Criteria from User Stories
- BDD framework/tools (e.g. Cucumber) for acceptance tests. Writing feature files in Cucumber or Gherkin
- Experience of Full lifecycle testing
Desirable:
- Experience of Automation testing for mobile apps. E.g. Exposure to mobile automation frameworks (E.g. Appium) and languages (E.g. Ruby, Java)
- ISEB / ISTQB Qualification(s)
About you:
You will need a passion for testing and problem solving and the ability to advise on platform best practice.
Strong communication skills are vital to the role, as is attention to detail and ability to adapt within an agile environment.
You should be a positive and analytical thinker that can think on your feet and stay calm under pressure.
You will be the protector of the live environment so tough decisions will be required; you will need to be strong at times and pragmatic at others.
Rate: £300 - £345 a day
Length: 6 months
