Description
A key client of Computer Futures are currently seeking for a highly experienced Hybris Developer to join a growing development team based in the Berkshire area.The contract will be for 6 months.
Daily rate of £320 to £360 per day.
* You will design and implement new APIs and features for the hybris Commerce Suite
* You will participate in refactoring efforts and write the necessary tests
* You will contribute to projects as a member of our development team with a focus on the creation/implementation of high-quality code and developing Java-based services and applications
* Adherence to coding standards and processes for code management and review
A solid understanding of Java, j2ee, Spring, MVC, SQL and associated technologies is mandatory - previous exposure to e-Commerce environments using Agile / Scrum would be beneficial.
Skills and experiences required:
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience of working on the Hybris platform
- Java / J2EE Programming experience
- Knowledge of web services, Javascript or Jboss application server
- Knowledge of Hibernate, Spring, Retail eCommerce experience desirable
- Knowledge of database architecture and design Experience of working in Agile Methodologies
**Full Driving License is required
