Mobile Developer IOS/ Android - Cross platform£350-£370 per day

What you will be doing in this role:
You will be required to be the internal expert/guru on Android and IOS application development. You will lead the scope / support and build of the cross platform applications as Greenfield projects for the team.
In this role you will be leading the development and delivery of mobile applications to a quickly growing customer base with a rapidly expanding multi payment system.
-Research and identify platform specific feature opportunities for app's
- Carry out peer code reviews
-Coordinate learning sessions and knowledge transfer to the staff
-Develop unit tests
-Manage development strategies and activities with QA and Customer Support teams
-Identify and create estimates for development efforts
-Remain abreast of industry and product trends
What you should ideally bring to this role: The chosen candidate will be a driven individual who knows how to get noticed and has a passion for all things mobile!
- Ability to meet project deadlines in an efficient manner
- Ability to develop comprehensive unit tests with 100% code coverage
- A strong knowledge of object-oriented methodology as well as a strong familiarity with database design
- Strong verbal and written communication skills are a must!
- Use of cross platform technologies is highly beneficial
- 2+ years experience in mobile application development.
- Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, and complex problem solving.
- Strong proficiency in Objective C and C# development
- Experience of working with SQL Server (the client use 2000 & 2008 but will soon be upgrading to 2012)
- Experience in efficiently consuming web services APIs using SOAP, XML, and JSON.
