Description

Do you cringe every time you see paper being wasted. Are you committed to the concept of the paperless office. And do you have the expertise to help us reduce our use of paper in a safe and innovative way. If so, our client located in the financial services are looking for a Functional Analyst Document Management to help them meet their paperless banking objectives.

This is a six months contract, with possible extension. We are essentially looking for Good spoken and written English skills. Dutch and or French languages are also preferable.

Job description - Context:
Use of Optical and Intelligent Character Recognition (ICRandOCR), web technology, Multi-Functional Printers (MFP), enterprise search and indexation engines, metadata, Linux, Unix, Windows, content addressable storage (CAS), Oracle databases, business process modelling (BPM), workflow management, software- and infrastructure architecture, object orientation, SCRUM, agile,

- The IT Paperless department is looking for a Functional Analyst for the Document Management domain.
- You act as primary contact person for our (internal) customers for the document management domain
- You define and formalize the functional needs in different documents (list of requirements, high-level application mapping, impact analysis, use case definition,)
- You translate the requirements in a solution in close collaboration with the software architect and subject matter experts
- You define the required application interfaces or web services
- You collaborate with the project leader during impact analysis, workload estimation and planning
- You collaborate with the development team during the construction phase
- You collaborate with the testing team during the execution of the acceptance/performance tests
- You collaborate with the hand-over to operations
- You identify possible risks and issues (with their impact and mitigation)
- You report to the project leader or asset manager

Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience

Mandatory Technical skills:
- You have experience in the document management domain
- You have experience in UML methodology (use cases, requirements management, test management, )

Preferable:
- Document management (metadata, search, indexation, upload, archiving,)
- Workflow management
- Web technology

Mandatory Business Experience:
- You are an experienced functional analyst with knowledge of the document management domain

Preferable:
- You are an experienced functional analyst in a banking environment
