Senior Java Developer - Daily Rate Contract - Dublin City Centre

Skills/Experience Required

  • Degree/Masters or equivalent experience

  • Considerable post qualification technical work experience

  • Good communication skills

  • Experience in Agile development methodologies

 Mandatory Technical Skills:

  • Java EE

  • UNIX

  • SQL

  • ORM/JPA (OpenJPA or Hibernate)

  • WebSphere (8 preferable)

 Desirable Technical Skills:

  • High volume Real Time systems

  • EJB3.1 or equivalent Spring based framework exposure

  • JMS

  • Eclipse

  • DB2

  • Flex

  • MQ

  • BlazeDS or Granite Data Services

  • Object Oriented Programming

  • Web Services

  • Good understanding of Concurrency and related concerns

  • Application Transactions and XA

  • Unit Test frameworks (TestNG preferred)

  • Distributed Caching technology (Extreme Scale/EHCache etc)
