Description
Next Ventures are currently looking for a MySQL Administrator/Developer to join a long-term contract in Leeuwarden.
The candidate will have the following:
- Experience on installing of MySQL Enterprise Software and MySQL Enterprise Backup Software
- Experience on setting up replication (GTID)
- Experience of DB2, LUW or Cassandra very advantageous
- Experience with failover, failback in time restores
- Scripting tbv maintenance (backups, reorgs, runstats etc)
- monitoring tools
- security settings, auditing and tuning
- Drupal knowledge is very beneficial
- Knowledge of clustered database environments
- Unix platform
