Description
Global Renewable Energy client is looking for 6 -8 Consultants to work as Offshore Diving/ROV Inspection Client Representatives for subsea inspection across the clients operations. This is a 6 months freelance contract starting mid-March 2016 to September 2016 with the possibility of an extension thereafter. The Consultants hours of work will be 12 hours a day/7 days a week, the shift pattern will be two weeks on duty followed by two weeks off duty. There could however be a three week duty period if the need arises. Accommodation will be provided by the client on board the vessel, however the Consultants will be required to pay for accommodation whilst onshore. This role can be performed out of the clients offshore site in the UK, or Denmark.Responsibilities:
- Daily reporting and communication with the Subsea Field Manager
- Attend all onboard/relevant HSE meetings and toolbox talks
- Supervision of:
- Daily work - according to procedures
- HSE
- QA/QC
- Alert the client of any health, safety or environmental concerns observed, such observations shall be included in reports to the clients along with any finding and suggested remedial action
- Compile and write a report on any incident involving the works, in particular if there has been any damage or perceived damage to the clients assets
- Monitor and report:
- Compliance with the contract and deliverables
- Work in accordance with English law, CDM and diving regulations
- Works in line with the project execution plan (PEP)
- Has an adequate Emergency Response Plan (ERP)
- Follow the QA/QA procedures and the projects
- QA/QC procedures. Notifying the Subsea Field Manager of non-conformances and assisting to close out non-conformances
- Follows own and the clients site environmental management plans
- Review contractor method statements and Risk Assessments and ensure that they are adequate prior to any work being undertaken
- Previous experience of acting as a CREP
- Experience in Dive/ROV Project Management and Supervision
- Commercial Awareness
- Good work ethic and a can do attitude with an attention to detail and a major focus on safety
- Proven track record within Offshore Wind
- Must have valid Offshore medical, Sea Survival and first aid certificates
The Consultant must bring his/her own PC with MS Office 2007 software and mobile telephone
The Consultant must also bring his/her own PPE (Personal Protection Equipment)
